Mitsubishi Center Press Die Plate

Mitsubishi has developed the "Center Press Die Plate" to improve the quality of the molded part.

A four-point clamping mechanism focuses force at the outer edge of the structure that can cause deflection at the mold parting line under load conditions. This deflection sometimes allows a small gap to develop at the parting line which causes flash on the part during injection.

Because the Large em Series generates clamp force at the four corners of the stationary platen, Mitsubishi has developed the "Center Press Die Plate" structure so that force is directed towards the center area of the platen and prevents any gap at the mold parting line. This design ensures that flash will be prevented.
