The Next-Generation High-Speed Injection Molding Machine

Mitsubishi is proud to introduce the world's largest electric injection machine, the 3300/3900 em Series. This "super-sized" electric machine uses large capacity direct drive injection servo motors to achieve optimal molding accuracy and cycle performance in the 3000 ton machine class. Featuring a center press type clamping mechanism to ensure unform force applied at the mold parting line for flash-less molding, this highly reliable and accurate machine represents the cutting edge of Mitsubishi's technology.

The em Series is an electric hybrid machine that utilizes AC servo motors to control all machine motions. Clamp force and nozzle touch force are generated by a built-in hydraulic power unit that can also be used for hydraulic cores and valve gates. The power unit is driven by two AC servo motors on an on-demand basis which contributes to the extreme energy efficiency of the Large em Series.
